Conservation in Action Campaign: Support the Wilmington Community Preserve
Click here to support the Wilmington Community Preserve!
Since we announced our intention to create a community preserve in Wilmington, we have received a lot of feedback from residents and visitors who have shared both support and excitement for the project. We are incredibly hopeful that this endeavor and our collaboration with Barkeater Trails Alliance will not only conserve this property in perpetuity, it will create new recreational opportunities in Wilmington that highlight the unique character of this area.
To help offset the costs associated with establishing this preserve, we have initiated a crowdfunding campaign. Adirondack Gives is a website created by Adirondack Foundation that connects local organizations with people who want to help. We established our Conservation in Action Campaign to support the acquisition and transitional costs associated with the purchase of the Hardy Road properties. Donations made through this website are secure, and all gifts are tax deductible. Most importantly, you will know that your donation directly supports a local project that benefits the community of Wilmington community and its visitors! Thank you for your donation and support for LPLC!
