Community Conservation Survey
We care deeply about the needs of the community and how you view land conservation in the Adirondacks. We live in an area that is world-renown for its beautiful landscape, but as residents, we must also take into account that the Park contains a unique mixture of private and public lands.
We hosted a series of community conservation workshops throughout the summer of 2016 to introduce our Community Conservation Monitoring Program. The purpose of these workshops was also to give you a voice – we need your help to make our efforts effective. We want to know about you, about your opinions, about your concerns – and most importantly, about your vision for land conservation in our region.
At the close of each workshop, we asked participants to complete a survey to help evaluate the most important concerns of landowners within the Lake Placid Land Conservancy’s focus areas. If you are a landowner in Lake Placid or the Ausable or Saranac River watersheds, we would love to learn what conservation means to you.
The following survey will take about 5 minutes to complete and will directly inform the development of our Community Conservation Monitoring Program. You may fill out the online survey below or via the SurveyMonkey website. Thank you for caring about conservation!
